: Here it is. The 100th 1999!. It's not on a very
happy note, but it's just one of those eras. I'll
be running one more 1999! and that's the last
you'll see of that series. When it continues it'll
be as "Box of Ink". But, in the mean
time, I'm working on developing a story involving
Mooney and Sunny which would be a strip as opposed
to single isolated gags. Watch this space for
the big desicion. Hope you stick around!:) |

: I just felt like doing the time warp again.:)
Today's is #99! Tune in tommorrow for the big
#100! Just don't expect a big party. It will pass
rather silently.
Also, I should go ahead and announce, it is our
plan to officially change the comics name from
"1999!" to "Box of Ink" after
#101. We'll also start a new archive. Come back
soon to see the new comic!:) |

: Today's is based on a conversation I had with
2 of my kids. It struck me as funny at the time,
but you probably had to be there.;) |

: New toon! I wasn't feeling like
commenting on CNN today. It was more of a drumcircle
day.:) |

: New
forum! So,
if ya got anything on your mind, speak
it here. Also make sure to sign up for JWCartoons
and get Mooney in your mailbox. It's
convienent!
Sorry for the lack of toons, there shall be more
soon.:) |

: For
those of you who don't know, I proudly hail from
the great city of Las Vegas. This evening brought
an Anthrax scare in Reno. At the moment it's up
in the air as to whether the powder is Anthrax
or not, but it inspired today's cartoon.
Also,
our last auction ends soon, take one last look,if
you dare! |

: The
gags continue as I again post meaningless cartoons
in the wake of uncertainty. I don't know if I
wholeheartedly I agree that distractions are harmless,
but I suppose the occasional waste of time can
encourage you to make better use of your time
next time! So here's some more senseless tooning!
Again,
we're on the last few days of our Auctions for
America. Take a look and see if you can pitch
into the hat and take home some cool art while
you're at it!:) |

: Today's
panel is the first since 9/11 without a reference
to the tragedy. Expect more to follow. The best
thing we can do to discourage bullies is show
them that they cannot make us live in fear. I'll
be doing some fairly regular updating for awhile,
so go ahead and bookmark me again!
Again,
please stop over to our Ebay store, we've got
some great stuff there including caricatures and
a few 1999! panels. All money goes to the New
York Relief Fund. So, if you could never think
of a reason to own some original 1999! art, I'd
say this is a pretty good one. And you can't beat
the price ($1 cheap!). |

: Please
stop by our ebay store for an inexpensive way
to help out in New York. Right now we're offering
caricatures at an EXTREMELY reasonable starting
bid. We'll also be putting up a few 1999! panels
at $1 each! If you can help, I know a whole country
that would appreciate every extra dollar.:) |
| 09-19-2001
: Today
brings another commentary on our recent 911 incident.
This one regarding the many messes we have to
clean. The cameo is Steve
Oliff's Armature. He never has much to say. |

: Today
is one of those days when statements need to be
made. For those of you opposed to this sort of
language, I apologize for the lack of warning.
I don't believe in abuse of profanity, but in
this case, I believe the shoe fits. God is watching
over our affairs, and will always be there for
guidance. My house's prayers go out to all the
innocent victims. And for the perpetrators, even
if we fail to bring justice to them, they will
one day stand before the Almighty. That is enough
for me. |
